Horseback Riding Tours: DON LULO'S NAUYACA WATERFALL TOUR: $50 (8pm to 2pm)

This tour begins with a horse ride to Don Lulo's home where you will be treated to a traditional "Tico" style breakfast while observing some animals of the mini-zoo and the flora and fauna of his home. Guests will then ride through the tropical rain forest to the waterfalls where they will stay until noon swimming, taking photos and enjoying the falls. On the trip back, the guests will return to Lulo's home once again for a delicious lunch before continuing back.

RANCHO LA MERCED HORSEBACK TOURS:
Tour 1. Ride to waterfalls and through the rainforest, swim in natural pools and view wildlife, flora and fauna. $35

Tour 2. Ride from La Merced to the beautiful Playa Hermosa where you can run your horse on the beach or relax and take a swim in the ocean. Don't forget to take some photos!! $35

Tour 3. Cowboy for a day: Learn how to saddle your own horse, rope a cow and how a working cattle ranch functions. You will be toured through the ranch as well as your choice of the beach or the rainforest maybe both if time allows. A delicious breakfast and lunch will also be served on the full day tour. 1/2 day tour: (3 to 4 hours) $35 Full day tour (6 to 7 hours) $60 Min.of 2 people required.

LALO TOURS: RANCHO LAS ROCAS:
1. Playa Tortuga: 1 person: $55 (2 or more $38 per person) A relaxing atmosphere, a beautiful beach of gray sand, an unforgettable trip. This 2 to 3 hour ride takes you through the rain forest to beautiful Playa Tortuga Beach where you can run your horse and take a dip in the ocean. And you thought this only happened in the movies!!!

2. Playa Ventanas: 1 person: $55 (2 or more $48 per person)
Small intimate beach with 2 mysterious caves and a very exotic coconut tree plantation. A taste of paradise.

3. Cascade of Ojochal: 1 person $55 (2 or more $43 per person)
This native guide will meet you at the hotel and take you on an interesting two to four hour horseback ride through Ojochal forest trails and up a mountain for a spectacular view of Playa Tortuga and the surrounding area. You will stop at a hidden waterfall, where you can choose to take a quick swim or just relax in the shade. After being treated to a fresh fruit drink and enjoying the local residents-toucans and parrots- you'll return to the hotel just in time for a cocktail by the pool.

4. Mountain Las Brisas: 1 person $55 (2 or more $48 per person) A superb tour in the mountains. Everlasting memories. This beautiful 4-4.5 hour guided ride takes you through the village and across the Tortuga River, up the mountain for a panoramic view of Cano and Garza Islands, the ballena rock formations and the entire coastline. You'll also enjoy viewing tropical flowers, butterflies, animals, birds and possibly monkeys along the way. The tour includes a rest hour to take photographs and enjoy fresh juices and coconuts cut right from the tree. Don't forget your camera!!
